FieldScout

Terms of Service

Terms for agency access and use.

By purchasing, accessing, or using FieldScout for an agency, you agree to use it only as authorized and to preserve the authority of applicable manuals, approvals, and professional judgment.

01

Authorized agency use

FieldScout is provided for authorized Weatherization agency and program work. Users may access only the agency, jurisdiction, records, and tools assigned to them.

02

Accounts and access

Agency administrators are responsible for accurate account information, authorized users, credential protection, and prompt removal of access that is no longer appropriate. The primary administrator counts as one paid user.

03

Billing and cancellation

Monthly and annual subscriptions use the paid-user pricing shown on the Pricing page. Stripe collects payment. Subscriptions renew on the selected cadence unless changed or ended through the available billing path.

04

Billing changes

Paid-user increases can take effect after a current price review and explicit confirmation. Paid-user decreases and annual-to-monthly changes are scheduled for renewal. Purchased users cannot be reduced below users already active or prepared for access.

05

Source verification

FieldScout may connect guidance to manuals and approved documents, but users remain responsible for verifying current requirements. FieldScout does not replace agency authority, required approvals, governing manuals, approved audit software, or professional judgment.

06

Acceptable use

Do not bypass access controls, interfere with the service, upload unlawful material, probe another agency’s data, misuse source documents, or use FieldScout to make unsafe or unauthorized program decisions.

07

Availability

FieldScout may change, pause, or limit features for maintenance, safety, source readiness, security, or operational reasons. These terms do not promise a specific uptime or response time.

08

Intellectual property

FieldScout software, product design, and original materials remain the property of their respective owners. Agencies retain responsibility for and rights in their own records, subject to applicable source and third-party rights.

09

Suspension and termination

Access may be suspended or ended for nonpayment, security risk, misuse, legal obligation, or material breach. Ending access does not transfer official recordkeeping duties from the agency to FieldScout.

10

Product boundaries

FieldScout is a support and workflow product. It is not the official agency file, governing authority, approved audit software, required professional calculation, or substitute for qualified review. Use remains subject to applicable law and program requirements.
